VISION

To make fresh cuts sustainable for every market, industry, and customer by delivering innovative equipment and solutions that produce the highest-quality products, maximize yield and productivity, and create sustainable, profitable growth.

GOAL

We envision a future where every fresh-cut operation—regardless of size or industry—can produce better products more efficiently, reduce waste and labor demands, and grow profitability through smarter automation.

CORE VALUES

01.

QUALITY WITHOUT COMPROMISE

We believe the quality of the finished product is everything. We provide equipment and solutions designed to deliver consistent, precise, high-quality results that customers can see, measure, and trust.

02.

CUSTOMER SUCCESS FIRST

We don't believe in simply selling equipment. We believe in understanding our customers' operations, challenges, and goals—and providing solutions that create measurable value. Our success is measured by our customers' success.

03.

INNOVATION THAT WORKS

Technology only matters when it solves a real problem. We seek out smarter, more efficient ways to automate production, improve processes, and help our customers stay ahead.

04.

PRODUCTIVITY THAT PAYS

Increased production should translate into increased opportunity. Our solutions are designed to help customers get more from their people, their products, their time, and their facilities. More productivity. More yield. More opportunity.

05.

SUSTAINABILITY THROUGH EFFICIENCY

Sustainability is more than reducing waste. It means creating operations that are productive, efficient, and profitable for the long term.

By maximizing yield and reducing unnecessary labor, waste, and operating costs, we help make fresh-cut production economically and operationally sustainable.

06.

PARTNERSHIP, NOT JUST SALES

We build relationships that extend beyond the purchase. We listen, educate, demonstrate, support, and remain invested in the customer's success.

07.

KEEP MOVING FORWARD

The food industry is constantly changing. Labor, costs, consumer expectations, and production demands continue to evolve. We embrace change, challenge conventional processes, and continuously look for a better way.

WHERE DID DARK SIDE EQUIPMENT GET ITS NAME?

No, it is not a Star Wars reference, although we do thoroughly enjoy the movie franchise. Our name comes from our love and fandom of the band Pink Floyd and their seminal 1973 album “Dark Side of the Moon”. Our LLC is Dark Side of the Spoon Industries, combining our passion for all things food and our favorite musical album.
